Tengo muy buenas noticias y sorpresas que quiero compartirles pero les estaré contando luego (dentro de las cuales, mi reciente obsesión por mi nuevo off the shoulder dress). I was chosen ambassador blogger for Miami Fashion Week!
Fui escogida como bloguera embajadora para representar a mi bello país: Nicaragua. Fue un honor para mi recibir esa invitación de parte de uno de los eventos mas importantes en la industria de la moda en Florida. Mi experiencia como embajadora fue invaluable; especialmente porque tuve la oportunidad de conocer gente maravillosa, y esa es una de las cosas que mas aprecio en la vida. Les estaré contando todo sobre el evento y mi experiencia próximamente en un artículo! Por el momento me quiero enfocar en una nueva tendencia: off the shoulder dress.
I was chosen as an ambassador blogger to represent my beautiful country: Nicaragua. It was an honor for me to get an invitation from one of the most significant fashion events in Florida. My experience as an ambassador was priceless; specially because I had the opportunity to meet amazing people and that’s one of the things I appreciate the most in life. I’ll tell you everything about the event and my experience very soon! Right now I want to focus on a hot new trend: off the shoulder dress.
Una de las cosas que aprendí de las colecciones de primavera 2016 es la predominancia de la tendencia “off the shoulder”. Desde camisas hasta vestidos, esta moda halagadora no solo se mira bella en cualquier chica. Sino que también esconde esas manchas de sudor y rollitos que todas odiamos; especialmente durante este verano tan caliente!
Que podría ser mejor que esto? Mi parte favorita acerca de esta tendencia es la habilidad que tiene de validar la frase: “menos es mas”. La moda off-shoulder ya es un statement así que no necesitas añadir muchas cosas a tu look! Mi vestido tiene un estilo boho; pero también tiene mangas acampanadas que le dan a mi atuendo el balance y volumen necesario. Así que no necesita mas ropa o accesorios.
One thing that we learned from the spring collection runways is the prevalence of the “off the shoulder trend”. From tops to dresses, this flattering fashion not only looks cute on any girl; but hides your pit stains taking place during this hot summer!
What can be better than that? My favorite part about this trend is the ability to make the phrase “less is more” accurate. Since the off-the-shoulder trend is already a statement, you don’t really need anything else! My dress has a boho style; but it also has oversized sleeves that give the outfit enough balance and volume so it doesn’t need more clothes or accesories on it.

For my first day in Miami, this cute little off-the-shoulder dress seemed like the perfect combination between the city, fashion and summer! With one of my favorite chokers, an incredible view and a glass of wine; I was able to enjoy a pleasant evening at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel 🙂
