By I’m sorry it took me forever to post on my ootd during the Fashion Night Gala for Nicaragua. Before I tell you more details on my gorgeous gown, let me tell you a little bit about the event. The Fashion Night Gala was organized by Palo Rosa – Clothing Store and Revista SER – Nicaraguan magazine – in order to raise funds for ANF (American Nicaraguan Foundation) which focuses in serving the most underprivileged sectors of Nicaraguan society, providing them fasten resources in priority areas such as education, health, nutrition and others.
The event surpassed my expectations in every single aspect. From the setting to the runway and designers, everything went perfect! With the participation of talented designers like Jorge Vega Umana, Iradj Moini, Mignone Vega, Hayde Callejas, Luca Luca, and Palo Rosa, we had an unforgettable New York night in Nicaragua! We also had Nicholas D’Vachio, Ernest Williams and model Jacob Burton – some of the most important characters in the NYC fashion industry- as special guests, and I had the pleasure to meet them. Before the event, I went to Hotel Intercontinental Metrocentro to get ready 🙂 Choosing my outfit was not easy. To be honest, I was between a dress and pants, but after making up my mind and asking my friends I decided the dress was the ideal fit for this occasion. The turtle neck gave my dress a touch of elegance and sophistication while the skater skirt added a sense of fun.
