By One of the most important events in the Costa Rican Fashion Industry took place this past December 28th, 2014. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Guanacaste 2014 was conducted at Hacienda Pinilla’s Beach Club, presenting the first Summer Edition of the greatest Fashion event in Costa Rica, which made its winter edition for two consecutive years in San Jose, Costa Rica.

The event surpassed my expectations in all aspects. The production didn’t come out as expected, but even better! Every detail complemented the event ideally. The scenario took a cruise concept which was pretty appropiate for the place, since the runway was on the beach. And the all-white dresscode gave the perfect finale for a perfect night.
The participating brands were: Bajo Aqua and Cascatta Swimwear from Costa Rica, Arturo Calleย from Colombia, with stores in Colombia, Panamรก, Costa Rica and El Salvador, and Caffe Swimwear from Colombia. To be honest I’m not sure which brand I liked the most because they were allย marvelous! When the show started I just wanted to be on summer time so I could wear allย the designs lol. For women’s summer collections, I noticed a strong tendency for bright colors and prints on swimwears and apparel as well as combinations between solids and prints. So go ahead and check out Bajo Aqua, Cascatta Swimwear and Caffe Swimwear because their pieces are theย new trend for this summer 2015!
The event could not have chosen better for the mens fashion.ย Arturo Calleย is considered one of the most enterprising figures of Colombia. The brand portrays a wide range of styles, and a cutting-edge fashion combining classic and casual to create the ideal line for men.
